It’s slightly uncomfortable when they grab your eye to peel off the top layer of your cornea (I think they use tweezers of some sort because it feels like your eyeball’s being squeezed). But when it comes to the actual procedure, it’s absolutely painless. The smell of lasered/burnt cornea is weird though. Smells kinda like burnt plastic.


You should do it. IT’S FREAKING AMAZING. Recovery doesn’t take long, I was driving the day after surgery :D Don’t know how much it costs in Sydney though :/
